The 12th century historic farmhouse of Crocadon offers more than just a room to sleep. The atmospheric dining hall not only hosts a satisfying breakfast, but doubles up as an engaging space for formal meetings and gatherings. The drawing and billiard room, with it's two open fires offers opportunity for indulgent relaxation.Situated opposite St. Mellion International Golf and Country club Crocadon is the perfect get away for the night or even a weekend or mid week break.All rooms have views over the surrounding lawned gardens and countryside. The private rural location provides an oasis for wildlife and is surrounded by 130 acres of organic farmland and Pentillie estate woodland which run down to the Tamar estuary.The large kitchen is the heart of the house, with its large oak table, Aga oven, views overlooking the gardens. The farmhouse dining room has an incredible galleried staircase, large granite fireplace and an even bigger oak table to crowd around and enjoy breakfast, seating up to 10. Also situated on the ground floor is a drawing room with a television, open fires and a pool table. We like to make our guests feel at home as much as possible, therefore the use of these facilities are available to use at your leisure any time of the day. The farmhouse has a fantastic atmosphere with plenty of space to relax and spread out, plus quiet corners in which to retreat. The gardens are spacious and mainly laid to lawn, individual areas offers guests space for a range of activities, not least just soaking up the warm weather in the sheltered cottage garden.The farmhouse sleeps up to 8 adults. Fold up beds can be made available for children aged under 10 staying in parents rooms. Well behaved pets welcome by arrangement.
