Enjoy a Real Cornish Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and it's organic.Trenethick, formerly part of Coldrenick Estate, has been farmed by the Carpenter family for over 250 years. Many changes over the years have seen John Carpenter and his wife Amanda farming organically, diversifying in to horse livery and now opening up the farmhouse to provide organic bed and breakfast in every sense of the word. Eat organic produce from local farmsWe love the organic way of farming and believe in it. It works well for us. The horses have been benefiting from the same ethos for many years now and we would like to give others the opportunity to discover a real farmhouse experience. It's our way of leading a healthier way of life and being kinder on the environment. Traditional farmhouse breakfast is cooked for guests on the four-oven range in the farm kitchen. Special diets can be catered for just let us know. All food is organic from nearby farms wherever possible, or locally sourced. Bedding, towels, bath mats and all our cleaning products are environmentally safe and we recycle and reuse everything we possibly can. Re-loved and relaxed at TrenethickThe furnishings are an eclectic mix of antique, refurbished and occasional new pieces all purchased locally or given by neighbours and friends. The gentle colours on the walls are from the eco-friendly Farrow and Ball range of paints. We want you to relax and feel totally at home with a sense of style and fun. Splashes of colour and art are provided by Amanda's paintings, sculpture and soft furnishings, so there's lots to look at and textures to touch.
